Mount Batukaru, the second-highest mountain in Bali at 2,276 meters, is the island’s spiritual and ecological heart, home of the only remaining rainforest in Bali. Revered in Balinese spiritual culture, it is dedicated to the god Mahadeva, symbolizing balance between creation and destruction.

Meet Agus, a dedicated regenerative farmer with a vision for the future. Along with his wife, kids, and parents, Agus runs a farm surrounded by the soon-to-be fully regenerated forest. After generations of farming, Agus is passionate about building a resilient ecosystem for his children and grandchildren to thrive in.

Rising land prices driven by tourism in Bali have made owning land nearly impossible for farmers who never inherited land, but instead of feeling defeated, Parta took action.

A special piece of Bali and location of a sacred spring where locals ask for Tirtha (holy water) for ceremony, is now available for sale. The property includes a large building, which is being sold along with the spring, but the surrounding land has fallen into neglect, with the current owner rarely present.
