We work directly with local farmers. Not to take their land, but to help them keep it. Many farmers want to sell their land, not because they don’t care, but because they see no other way forward, burdened with debt and the pressure of supporting their families. That’s where we step in. We buy the land, but not to own it.

Instead, we create a partnership that benefits both the farmer and the forest. We offer them a clean slate, providing income through biodiverse rainforest restoration. A way of working that provides them with immediate, midterm, and long-term income. 

By reforesting together and harvesting in alignment with their ancestral knowledge and traditional practices, we show them that their future can be more secure than they ever believed possible, just by working with nature, not against it.

And the best part? Once the land starts generating income, part of that revenue goes back to the foundation as a down payment. Over time, the farmers regain ownership, but this time with a thriving, self-sustaining rainforest that provides them with stability for generations.

Every family is different, and every piece of land has its own story. That’s why we tailor detailed reforestation and budget plans for each project.
